University Executive Board

The University Executive Board (UEB) is the University's senior leadership team, the structure for the team can be found here. The board is responsible for steering and supporting the strategic direction of the University. Committees reporting to UEB can be found here.

The University Executive Board meets monthly throughout the year.  Minutes of the University Executive Board meetings can be found here.

Purpose

The UEB exists to:

  • discuss a broad range of opportunities and challenges, covering all areas of strategic interest
  • engage with the external environment affecting the institution and higher education - both nationally and internationally - to inform decision making 
  • work closely with senior academic and professional service leaders to understand activity across the University in order to ensure strategy is in line with requirements
  • direct the affairs of the University on behalf of Council and Senate
