Not attending?

There are many reasons why you may choose not to or be unable to attend a graduation ceremony.

If you are unable to attend your graduation ceremony, you can either:

graduate in absentia and receive your certificate by post or collect it in person following the winter ceremonies
defer your graduation until a later date. Please note, you can only defer your graduation date twice

It's important to complete registration even if you're not attending, as this is where you check that your name and contact information are correct for your certificate.

Registration is open between 10am on Tuesday 21 October and 12 noon on Friday 14 November.

What to do if you've registered but can't make it?

If you have registered to attend a ceremony but can no longer attend, please contact the graduation team as soon as possible.
