Each school and department has a specific ceremony date and time, so make sure you check when yours is and make a note of the date.

If you have any outstanding debt owing to the university, you will not be able to graduate and will automatically be deferred. Please review the finance tab in NottinghamHub if you are unsure. You have until 5pm on Monday 24 November to clear any debts.

3. Register how you'd like to graduate
Registration for our winter ceremonies opens at 10am on Tuesday 21 October. Whether you're planning to attend, defer or not attend, you must complete the registration form on NottinghamHub by 12 noon on Friday 14 November to let us know your decision. For more information, visit our registration webpage.

4. Create your Ede and Ravenscroft account
If you are attending a ceremony, you also need to create an account with Ede and Ravenscroft by 12 noon on Friday 14 November to confirm your own ticket, purchase any additional tickets and hire your hood and gown.

5. Book your guest tickets
Each graduating student attending a ceremony can purchase up to two guest tickets during the registration process. Tickets cost £15 each and can be purchased until 12 noon on Friday 14 November via our ticket partner, Ede and Ravenscroft, after you have completed registration in NottinghamHub. 6. Hire your gown and hood
Your graduation would not be complete without the traditional gown and hood. Visit our gown webpage for all the details you need to hire your gown and hood. Remember, you have until 12 noon on Friday 28 November to order your gown in advance.

7. Request a Student Status Letter
If you or your guests require a visa in order to attend graduation, you will need to request a Confirmation of Student Status Letter.
We recommend printing out the email you received inviting you to graduation as proof of your ceremony invitation.

8. Look out for extra guest tickets
Depending on availability, extra guest tickets may be available to purchase from 10am on Tuesday 18 November and will cost £15 each. Further details can be found on our guest tickets webpage.

11. Plan your photography and merchandise
Visit our photography and merchandise webpage to discover what will be available at your graduation. We know that capturing special moments of your day will be a priority!

Graduation parking costs £10 per vehicle and will be valid for the day of your ceremony. Information about how to book your parking will be available on our transport and parking page closer to the ceremonies.
If you or your guests are blue badge holders, you do not need to pay for parking as long as you display your badge.
